[Detailed Answer] Believe it or not burning up our retinas in the wee hours of the morning retouching and color-correcting photo albums is no
fun, so here's where we try to save ourselves from premature blindness.
- If you took more than 3 pictures, its highly unlikely we'll include
them all. Odds are 80% of them looked the same, just a different background.
- If your photograph was underexposed / overexposed beyond our correction
capabilities most likely the photo won't make the cut.
- If you took a great picture with a REALLY hot girl or guy
and as soon as you walked off they asked us to delete that picture, guess what, your picture didn't make the cut.
- If you enjoy taking those problematic group shots and ANY one person in that group shot of 50 people asks for us not to use the photograph,
guess what, your picture didn't make the cut. FYI, large group (4+ people) shots are ALWAYS a pain in the ass.
- If there was something strange going on in your picture such as a preponderence of closed eyes (blinking), nipple slips (it happens!), etc; guess what..., you guessed
it, that photo won't make the album.
- If there was nothing wrong with your picture, but there was really nothing right about it either... guess what, BAMMM! it gets cut. When we've
got 100+ photos to process we have to make cuts somewhere. We generally start cutting with the people who love those really horrific
head to toe shots and poses (they never work out... way too much background interference).
- If you love those obscene little, "hey look I'm cool I'm throwing up the middle finger like I'm in high-school again" poses, it'll probably be cut.
Not necessarily because we're offended, just because we think you're an immature little asshole dirtying up the genetic pool of life and
we'd rather not acknowledge your existence. Nothing personal tho ;)
